VERI-SNAP, LLC ("VERI-SNAP," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the VERI-SNAP mobile application and related services collect, use, store, and protect information.
Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, VERI-SNAP may collect or process the following information:
Photos and Images
When you use the Capture feature, the app may access your device camera to take photographs. You may also choose to upload an image from your device.
Captured images may be stored as sealed records for documentation and verification purposes.
Location Information
If you grant location permission, VERI-SNAP may collect your device's latitude and longitude at the time a record is captured.
Location coordinates may also be converted into a readable location or address and stored with the sealed record.
Location access is used to document where a record was created. VERI-SNAP does not require location access when permission has not been granted.
Date and Time Information
VERI-SNAP records the date and time associated with captured records to help document when the record was created.
Device Information
The app may collect limited technical information about the device or browser used to create a record, such as device type, operating system, browser information, or user-agent information.
This information may be used to support record integrity, troubleshooting, security, and verification.
Record Information
VERI-SNAP may create and store information associated with a sealed record, including:
- A verification code
- An integrity fingerprint
- Capture date and time
- Capture source
- Location information, if permitted
- Device information
- Notes or descriptions voluntarily entered by the user
Account Information
If you create or use an account with VERI-SNAP, we may process account information necessary to provide and manage access to the application and its features.
How We Use Information
VERI-SNAP uses information collected through the app to:
- Create and store sealed photographic records
- Document the time and location of a capture
- Generate verification codes
- Verify the authenticity and integrity of records
- Display records in the user's Vault
- Provide app functionality
- Maintain security and prevent misuse
- Troubleshoot technical problems
- Respond to user questions and support requests
- Comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations
Camera and Location Permissions
VERI-SNAP requests camera access when you choose to capture a photograph.
Location access is requested so the app can associate location information with a sealed record. Users may deny or disable location permission through their device settings.
Certain location-related features may not function when location access is disabled.
Sharing of Information
VERI-SNAP does not sell personal information.
Information may be processed by service providers that help us operate the application, such as hosting, storage, security, application infrastructure, or location/address-processing services.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or legal processes
- Protect the rights, safety, property, or security of VERI-SNAP, our users, or others
- Investigate fraud, misuse, or security incidents
Service providers are expected to process information only as necessary to provide their services.
Data Security
VERI-SNAP uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse.
No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data Retention
Sealed records and associated information may be retained while needed to provide the VERI-SNAP service or until the applicable record or account is deleted.
Information may be retained for a longer period when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal obligations, or regulatory compliance.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, it may be deleted or de-identified.
Deleting Records
Users may delete eligible sealed records using the deletion features provided within the VERI-SNAP application.
Deleting a record may permanently remove the associated image and record information.
Account and Data Deletion
Users may request deletion of their VERI-SNAP account and associated personal data.
Where available, users may initiate account deletion through the account-deletion option inside the VERI-SNAP application.

Include the email address associated with the account so we can identify the account being requested for deletion.
After a valid deletion request is processed, associated account data will be deleted unless limited retention is necessary for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or regulatory reasons.
User Choices
You may control certain permissions through your device settings, including camera and location permissions.
You may also choose not to provide optional notes or other voluntarily entered information.
Disabling a permission may prevent certain app features from operating properly.
Children's Privacy
VERI-SNAP is intended for property inspection, documentation, verification, and related professional or property-service purposes. The app is not designed or directed primarily toward children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our application, services, data practices, or legal requirements change.
When material changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
